Tory Daw is a skilled photographer from small town Huron County, Ontario. She has a passion for capturing the beauty in everything. From nature to people she does it all.
Tory specializes in portrait photography. Weddings, Elopements, Families, Couples, Maternity, Solo, etc. She runs her business out of Huron County, Ontario. Her photographic style is warm and casual much like her. She loves talking with her clients and collaborating on capturing their special days and moments.
Tory has been taking photos for over 10 years on many different cameras. From the tiny pink camera she was gifted to the Canon 90D she has now. She first picked up her camera after the passing of her grandma. She wanted to capture memories of the little things that reminded her of her grandma. Very soon that turned into her passion and it slowly became the thing she was always doing. She got to grade 11 where she met her photography teacher Mr. Johnston. There is where she flourished. Mr Johnston gently pushed her towards having the confidence to pursue photography as more than a hobby. He gave her the wise advice to use her creative mind alongside her academic mind. She soon gained the confidence and the portfolio to apply for college photography programs. She chose these four schools to apply to; Lambton, Fanshawe, Conestoga and Niagara. To her surprise they all offered her a place in their program.
She chose and attended the Lambton College Photography Program for 2 years and graduated in 2024. She came to the school to broaden her knowledge and grow her portfolio but she got so much more. She made lifelong friends and learnt so much from her professors.
Tory is proficient in Photoshop and Lightroom. She offers photo restoration as a service for her business. Which is one of the only ways she gets to really showcase her editing. She captures, culls, and edits all of her images on her own. In her words she is a one woman show.
