Mike is a landscape and nature photographer living in Bluewater, Ontario. Living along Ontario’s West Coast affords him great opportunities to photograph nature in all its moods – from calm sunsets to wild storms, wind and waves to ice and snow and the most spectacular sunsets anywhere on the planet.
Photography started as a means of capturing time spent in nature, both at home and abroad. A variety of activities – hiking, camping, snowshoeing, skiing – all provided access to the beautiful, picturesque locations that became a source of many of his images.
These endeavours led to studying photography at Lambton College, where he honed his creative and artistic abilities and perfected technical skills under the guidance of experienced instructors.
Mike shares his images in the hope that others will not only enjoy them but also appreciate our connectedness to our natural environment and be inspired to make choices that help to preserve it.
