Artist Biography
Lorraine Kraayenbrink is a PortLambton based photographer who will graduate this April from the two year Digital Photography program at Lambton College. While raising three children, she has decided to follow her passion and pursue a career in photography. Through her art work she hopes to remind people that in common surroundings there is unnoticed beauty to be enjoyed; and to prompt people to take a moment to rest and reflect after a busy day.
Lorraine also has also expanded her interest in capturing people in their environments, and is continuing to develop this area of her profession through posed and unposed photography. Lorraine has completed numerous photography projects while at Lambton College which include family, children, couples, animals, product, portrait, event and street photography. She hopes to continue to diversify and experiment with different types of photography as she develops specific niches.
While at Lambton College her art was chosen in the 2013 Lambton College Sutdent Permanent Art Collection Competion and in the Colleges and Institutes Canada 2014 Art Showcase Transformations Contest.
