Artist Biography
D. Groombridge Photography is a Point Edward, ON based photographer, founded by Devon Groombridge. Devon chose her business name in tribute to her Grandparents, who were well known around Sarnia for their family businesses – Humpty Dumpty Eggs and The Groombirdge Sampler. She is trying to set her name above the rest of her artistic and creative family that’s within the community. She studied Visual & Creative Arts at Sheridan College in Oakville for 2.5 years, before studying Digital Photography at Lambton College for 2 years. She specializes in family, maternity, newborn and wedding photography; also exceeds at photo compilations and restorations. She travels all over South Western Ontario for clients and personal adventures. Devon is inspired by Annie Leibovitz’s and Ansel Adams’ work, as well as folklore/mythology, social media and other photographers. She enjoys many things that challenge and push her abilities as a photographer and as an artist. In her spare time, she enjoys drafting her next photoshoot idea, locating locations she’d like to photograph, editing and reading.
