I'm Shayeri and I'm from a city named Mumbai, in India. Before switching to Photography, I went to film school for three years, where I got a BA in filmmaking, specializing in Cinematography. Mumbai is the heart of India's film industry, and it is one of the biggest cities in the country. So coming from there, living in Sarnia hasn't been the easiest of adjustments, but its not one that I regret at all.
I decided to move to Canada to pursue my passion for photography and turn it into a career. Leaving behind my culture, friends, and family was difficult, but the opportunity to study under great teachers and make amazing friends made it all worth it. As a photographer, I want to specialize in Portrait and Fashion photography, and I am constantly pushing myself to learn new skills and techniques to improve my craft, delving into relatively new areas, such as nature, landscape, product, and fine art photography, to broaden my horizons and enhance my creativity.
