Artist Biography

It all started with my love of art. I wasn't sure what to take in post-secondary at first but when I sat in the presence of some great graphic designers at Fanshawe College, describing to me their personal work experiences, having studied at that college & their successes, I knew I was in the right room. "Do you think outside of the box?", was what they asked and I knew this course was made for me, I was going to study Graphic Design at Fanshawe College. I packed my bags and moved to London, Ontario that September to get started on my artistic journey as a graphic designer. I fell in love with the creative suite and all of the amazing tools and different types of works I was learning to create. Works that included: web design, logos and branding, business, packaging, graphics, 3D animation, cinematography, and digital photography. Then came a new love. Love of photography. After obtaining an Advanced Diploma from Fanshawe, I moved home but I didn't want it to stop just there. I was really hoping to continue my education somehow & I had been working as a self-taught photographer, learning from close photographer friends, and then decided to further my educational background. I'm glad I did. I'm in my final term of Digital Photography at Lambton College and the opportunities I've been presented with in my hometown have been nothing short of a dream come true. I have worked with some great photographers, Toogood Studios in St. Thomas, & Kim Moir Photography in Windsor, I had my first published photographs a few years ago in the OHL Draft Guide, I'm currently working as a Graphic Designer/Photographer and Graphic Artist at Lambton College & I am now on board with Eclipse Media Productions here in Sarnia, & eager to get started!
