Gina Robertson

Gina’s 29-year critical care nursing career has afforded her an abundance of experience in working with others to achieve desired outcomes as a result of effective communication, as well as critical thinking skills when challenges arise.

In 2015, Gina purchased her first digital single lens reflex camera (DSLR) with the intention of taking up photography as a hobby.  This hobby soon turned into a bit of an obsession, and the next step was automatic.  She enrolled in the Lambton College Digital Photography Programme.  She now has traction and momentum with new goals and new aspirations, and plans to graduate from the programme in the spring of 2018.

In the spring of 2017, Gina officially launched her business, Gina Marie Photography.  She is most excited about newborn, infant, and maternity photography.  Gina Marie Photography also has a keen interest in commercial photography including real estate and product photography.  Gina is especially fond of portraits using unique mediums such as smoke, fog, flour, and coloured powders.  Many of Gina’s images show motion, character, and engagement in her subjects.

Gina’s main goal in a photo session is for all participants to have fun while capturing her clients’ spirit. For this reason, Gina’s clients do return to her frequently for their photographic needs.  This is evidence of success in achieving her goals and surpassing her clients’ expectations on a consistent basis.
